Before replacing the ECU, ensure that the input and output signal circuits are normal.

COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
|
|
|
If the anti-trap function is activated consecutively three times or more, rear power window sub switch (RH) sets the diagnosis code No. L0A40.
|
|
|
- Malfunction of the rear power window motor (RH)
- Malfunction of the rear power window sub switch (RH)
- Incorrectly installed or warped glass slider
- Improper adjusted door window glass
- Anti-trap function is activated intentionally
|
|
|
STEP 1. Check the power window fully closed position
|
|
|
(1)Carry out the learning procedures of the power window fully closed position. Refer to  .
|
|
|
(2)Fully open the rear door window glass (RH). Operate the rear power window sub switch (RH) to fully close the rear door window glass (RH), and check if the rear door window glass (RH) raise without lowering automatically.

|
Q.
Is the check result normal?
|
|
|
 Go to Step 3.
|
|
|
|
|
|
 Refer to adjustment of faulty power window . Then go to Step 2.
|
|
|
|
|
|
STEP 2. Check the door window glass installation
|
|
|
Check if the rear door window glass (RH) is installed normally.
|
|
|

Is the diagnosis code set?
|
|
|
Go to Step 3.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Refer to door window glass adjustment . Then go to Step 3.
|
|
|
|
|
|
STEP 3. Diagnosis code recheck
|
|
|
Replace the rear power window motor (RH). Recheck if the diagnosis code is set.
|
|
|
(1)Erase the diagnosis code.
|
|
|
(2)Turn the ignition switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
|
|
|
(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.
|
|

Is the diagnosis code set?
|
|
|
Replace the rear power window sub switch (RH).
|
|
|
|
|
|
The diagnosis is complete.
